On May 23, 2014 UK Government pledges £300million towards Polio Eradication

Polio Children’s founding trustee, Mayoor Patel, invited to advocate for the support and rehabilitation of children afflicted with polio at The Global Poverty Project’s Parliamentary Polio Diaspora Event. The meeting supporting The End of Polio campaign was held in the Thatcher Room at Houses of Parliament .

Mayoor Patel (founding trustee of Polio Children) in conversation with Dr Keith Barnard-Jones of Rotary International highlighting that the eradication of Polio is just the beginning as we need to help the young victims of polio get out of poverty and into mainstream society, a point he managed to get across to most of the stakeholders present.
